Tis the season of the tribute, with musical odes to Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, all set for release over the next couple of months.

This October a number of indie-folk artists including J. Tillman (Fleet Foxes), Peter Morén (Peter Bjorn and John) and Laura Veirs will be paying tribute to Bob Dylan on the compilation Subterranean Home Sick Blues: A Tribute to Bob Dylan’s Bringing It All Back Home, which includes versions of songs from the aforementioned 1965 classic LP which was home to a number of Dylan gems including the classics ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’, ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’ and ‘Maggie’s Farm’.

The compilation features a cover of every single song from the original album and is available on October 5th.

On October 9th, Jealous Butcher Records will release From The Land of Ice And Snow: The Songs of Led Zeppelin, a double-disc of Led Zep covers. Attempting a profound Zeppelin covers record is a behemoth task and these guys have taken on an impressive set of thirty three classics in one fell swoop.
