A vimeo user by the name of 'Kogonada' has gone through the painstaking work of compiling a video montage of Stanley Kubrick's use of the one-point shooting perspective right across his body of awe-inspiring work. Recognising the human fascination with symmetry, Kubrick became a true master of creating it. This short film catalogs shots taken from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Eyes Wide Shut, Paths of Glory, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, The Shining and Barry Lyndon all set to Clint Mansell's score from 'Requiem for a Dream'. Marvel at the mastery of one of the true originators of cinema.
