Portobello ‘Pop Up’ is a not-for-profit digital Microplex cinema, nestled under the Westway. Constructed using recycled and reclaimed materials in the heart of Ladbroke Grove/Notting Hill, it is above all the colourful setting and local community that makes the Portobello 'Pop Up' cinema such a unique and special place to experience film. Throughout this month the cinema salutes and hosts fellow London lo-fi micro-cine-pioneers, with one-off nights curated by Little Joe Magazine, Midsummer Night Screen, The Soheamians, Brick Lane’s Close-Up Film, Kino London, and The Suitcase Cinema.
