Originally from Texas, Josh T. Pearson formed the short-lived phenomenon that was Lift to Experience, who released one sprawling, majestic masterpiece - 2001's The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads - before splitting up soon after.

Since then, Josh T. Pearson has spent many years in the wilderness, only releasing one studio recording, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, a split 7-inch single with the Dirty Three and appearing on the Mercury Prize-nominated Bat for Lashes album Fur and Gold.

Catch him at the Southbank this Saturday 1st April or at the Union Chapel on 11th May
