Lee Scratch Perry Live In Brixton–
Posted by Calum Sager on 30 October 2012–
Reggae and dub royalty hit Brixton's Electric this weekend. Lee Scratch Perry, legendary musician and producer, is welcomed back to the one of helms of dub and reggae in Britain. Arguably the founder of dub returns with a live band for what promises to be a show not to be missed. With a catalog of production credits that includes Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Heptons, The Congos and Max Romeo, he is a truly one of the most original and influential producers to work in any realm of music. He will also be joined by South London residents Mikey Dread and Jah T, together known as the Channel One Soundsystem who have been influential in spreading dub music throughout London since the early 70's and just celebrated their 30th year as a soundsystem at the Notting Hill Carnival.
