John Maus Releases Rarities Collection

American avant-garde musician and composer John Maus' upcoming compilation, 'A Collection of Rarities and Previously Unreleased Material', is "a sixteen-song collection of music spanning eleven years of creative output". Post playing keyboards in Animal Collective, Panda Bear and Ariel Pink, Maus has since released three solo records, with last years 'We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves' propelling him to cult status. Out in July, the first 500 copies will be on pressed on translucent pink vinyl. If you are unfamiliar with Maus' music, below is a streamable track taken from the forthcoming collection.
