Don Hudson has photographed the streets of Detroit and Michigan state since the early 1970s, capturing daily life in the fascinating area of the American Midwest. His new book 'The Detroit Archives' collects together highlights from his personal archives. Hudson, an amateur photographer, has lived in Michigan since 1978 and has witnessed the gradual decline of the automobile industry in Detroit and the surrounding region. Here is a small selection of some of the photographs taken from the book.
