'Big Fun in the Big Town' is a great hip-hop documentary produced in 1986 for Dutch TV and shot entirely in New York City. The film has recently been re-issued by Five Day Weekend and will be the first time it has been commercially available in 25 years. The documentary features many of hip-hop's forefathers including, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl, Grandmaster Flash, Run-DMC, Schoolly-D, Doug E. Fresh and Russell Simmons. You can watch the trailer below.
